Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy and Planning: Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, and quality metrics to ensure product reliability across all development stages.

• Test Automation: Architect, build, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to streamline CI/CD pipelines.

• Technical Execution: Conduct rigorous manual and automated testing, including API testing (Postman), performance testing, and cross-platform testing (Web/Mobile).

• Quality Lifecycle Management: Lead execution of regression, smoke, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure seamless feature releases.

• Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality-first development.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate quality checks early in the development lifecycle and resolve complex production incidents.

Professional Prerequisites

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise or SaaS products.

• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge in both manual and automation testing methodologies.

• Tooling Expertise: Strong proficiency in industry-standard automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and API testing suites (Postman).

• Development Environment: Proficient in managing workflows via Jira or Azure DevOps, with a solid understanding of SQL for data validation and Git for version control.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to drive quality initiatives independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience integrating quality assurance into CI/CD pipelines.
