Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior/Associate ML & Backend Engineer with strong backend fundamentals, API development skills, and basic machine learning knowledge. The role focuses on building scalable systems and collaborating with web and mobile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
- Understand and implement system architecture and data flow
- Collaborate with web and mobile development teams
- Integrate basic ML models into backend systems
- Optimize backend performance and scalability
- Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling
- Debug, test, and maintain existing backend systems
- Support deployment and system monitoring processes
Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in backend development
- Strong knowledge of Python (Django / FastAPI / Flask preferred)
- Good understanding of REST APIs and system design fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and workflows
- Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Understanding of how systems interact across frontend, backend, and mobile
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly
